This place suits me perfectly with its great wi-fi, relaxing outdoor dining area, and helpful luggage storage. The staff once assisted me with local taxi info, which I remember fondly. I recommend checking everything upon arrival and I'll definitely be back for the new year!

Consider using the communal balcony for breakfast, as it's a perfect spot for enjoying the mornings outside while catching up on local events.

beautiful balcony, unique guest interactions, charming building
Smaller rooms often lead to cramped conditions!!! Noise insulation could be improved to block out sounds from neighbors and outside. Communication about check-in codes could be more timely for smoother arrivals!!! Care for maintenance issues like broken appliances is needed!!!

Couple seeking cozy escape
Honestly, I loved that by staying there, we met some great locals at the bar downstairs who gave us tips on where to go, even got a complimentary cocktail on arrival! The staff was super helpful. When my wife needed extra towels, they delivered them swiftly, no questions asked.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for New Orleans, it was acceptable.

I loved the charming atmosphere at Balcony Guest House. The wrap-around balcony provided a wonderful spot for morning coffee and people-watching. My room, a Deluxe Queen Suite, had a cozy vibe and beautifully decorated touches that made it feel special. The access code system for entry made it easy to come and go, which I appreciated. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the lively French Quarter and Frenchman Street. I also enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant, Silk Road, where I found the Indo-Asian dishes truly unique and flavorful. However, I faced several inconveniences during my stay. The housekeeping services were not consistent, and I noticed some areas could have used more attention. On one occasion, I needed assistance with the air conditioning, but staff availability was lacking, leading to delays in resolving issues. While I enjoyed the food, the prices at the bar felt a bit steep for what I expected from a guesthouse. Overall, I felt the Balcony Guest House had great potential but could improve on service responsiveness and cleanliness.

Chill vibes in a cozy spot!
We stayed in the Deluxe Suite for 3 nights, and it was super spacious and clean! The balcony view was a major win for relaxing and just enjoying the amazing Bywater vibes. Plus, there’s a cool restaurant below with great local food. Just a heads up though, locking yourself out on the balcony is easy to do!

The location was wonderful and just a short stroll to the French Quarter. I loved having direct access to the balcony from my room. it was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and evening relaxation. Charming neighborhood vibe with vibrant local culture buzzing around. The wrap-around balcony offers lovely views and space to unwind after a day out exploring. Convenient walking distance to the energetic French Quarter and multiple excellent restaurants for a true taste of New Orleans.
The air conditioning in the room couldn't be adjusted, leaving it a bit on the stuffy side for my liking. Housekeeping services felt sporadic, with my room not being tidied up during my stay. I also found the bed less than ideal for comfort. it squeaked at every little movement, making it hard to settle in for a good night's sleep. Hearing conversations from neighboring rooms didn't help, so if you're a light sleeper, prepare accordingly.
